Outing
After almost 7 months in the UK we today finally set out for an outing exploring the country
(we did go to York with Sarah and Aivis, but this was the first time we went off alone). Maria is home and today was a so called Bank Holiday (an English code for when everything close – of course apart from shopping centres, cinemas, restaurants etc – but as you can understand, the banks close). Anyway we set of to Conwy Castle in North Wales, which is only 1 ½ hours drive from here.
The weather is still not awfully good here (much prefer to be in Riga or even Copenhagen just now), but the rain stayed away and and we did see the sun a couple of times. Not so much to tell
of the trip, but fortunately Maria brought her camera, so instead we will post some photos. We did not have Andreas with us, so we did not spot any celebrities (probably Conwy is not the place to go if you want to go Celebrity hunting), so you will have to make do with the four of us.
