Finally!

Apparently it helps to complain. After our last entry, written on the eve of the 31. May, complaining about the wet weather here in Manchester, we woke up on the morning of the 1. June to a wonderful sunny day which lasted all day .this meant, after weeks of waiting, we finally could dedicate our new barbecue (it already had been duly baptised during the last weeks, although only by sprinkling, it did not rain enough for submersion).

It was great. And the weather continued today so we have spent most of it in the garden, more or less dressed. We did manage to clean the car and a few other things, but otherwise we have just relaxed (as you can tell from the photos) until now, when we are getting ready for another barbecue.

Last night we watched England vs. Brazil on TV. Tonight the real football is being played: Denmark vs Sweden, but we can't watch it! Guess we just have to pray and check the scores on the internet.
